Smithfield United Church of Christ
Women's Fellowship
Smithfield Church's Women's Fellowship is perhaps one of the oldest organized groups at Smithfield. Originally known as the Ladies' Aid Society, the Women's Fellowship was organized in 1887 to respond to community needs. Despite all the years that have passed since the group's creation, their commitment to community outreach has been on-going.

Today, the group meets every week to work on service projects, share their talent, learn from one another, (enjoy a break from the kids), have a good time, and build lasting friendships! The group has been known for making gifts, such as quilts and crocheted lambs, for children in our church and outside organizations, including Project Linus and the East End Cooperative.

Membership is open to all women looking to give some of their time to good causes and meet new women. Whatever your talent--baking, knitting, cutting squares of fabric for someone else to sew--you are welcome to join the Women's Fellowship! For more info, please contact us.
